Samsung Heavy Industries won two gold medals and one bronze medal at the 2nd Abu Dhabi WorldSkills Asia competition which was held for 4 days from November 27.

The gold medal was won in the welding and industrial control fields, and the bronze medal in the refrigeration technology, and the electric control field was ranked fourth, allowing to promote SHI`s technology to the world once again.

In recognition of its technical prowess, Samsung Heavy Industries was invited to participate in the government-led K-STAR Project (Capacity Building Program for Skills Competition in Developing Countries). From December 9th, for approximately two weeks, six of the company`s Olympic instructors and national team athletes provided technical guidance and conducted joint training with athletes from the Philippines and Azerbaijan, demonstrating their expertise in skills transfer.
