In October 2022, SHI formed the ESG Advisory Committee by appointing one ESG expert from consulting, investment & evaluation, and academia each in order to strengthen objectivity and transparency of the ESG Committee and to strengthen the expertise of establishment of ESG management strategies and tasks.

Advisory Committee members Jong-Chol Park(Current Director at Korea Sustainability Research Institute), Jae-Yeol Kwon(Current professor at Kyung Hee University Law School), and Yoon-Nam Cho(Current CEO at Daeshin Economic Research Institute) appointed as Advisory Committee members of SHI plan to serve as an advisory group for SHI's ESG management initiatives, proposals for major strategies, and establishment of an ESG risk management system.
